Home/School Agreement

Lindfield Primary School recognise that children learn best when they feel happy, secure, confident and valued.

They will be given the opportunity to achieve their full potential through equal access to the National Curriculum.

To achieve this,

Our School will:

Respond appropriately to individual children's needs

Encourage children to do their best at all times

Encourage children to take care of their surroundings and others around them

Inform parents of their child's progress at regular intervals

Provide parents with a summary of what their child will learn in class

Advise parents promptly of any changes which may affect their child

  The family will:

Ensure their child arrives at school on time

Ensure their child attends school

Inform the school promptly in the event of absence

Attend Parents' Consultations evenings

Encourage their child to complete homework assignments in line with Government recommendations

Provide the school with any information relevant to their child's education

The child will:

Keep to the school's code of behaviour

Treat everyone equally

Respect one another and one another's feelings

Respect each other's property

Walk quietly inside the school buildings

Play in a friendly, safe way

Understand that lying and swearing are unacceptable

Take responsibility for the way they behave

Be willing to say sorry

Respect the authority of adults working in the school.
